THE STORE
The Molteni Group is inaugurating its first Molteni&C Flagship Store in Romania, taking a significant step towards qualifying its distribution network in the Romanian strategic market. The Flagship Store is the result of a partnership with BL Associates, a well established studio in Romania, managed by Brandon Lee, along with its associate, Eduard Barbu. With a portfolio that gathers corporate offices, banks, private banking, hospitality, and retail projects to designing residentials and lofts for exclusive clients, the firm delivers turnkey projects in Romania and all over the world.
The exhibition pathway starts on the ground floor with a refined preview of a homely living room, where Marteen sofa, Louisa coffee table and Elain armchairs, all designed by Molteni&C creative director Vincent Van Duysen, welcome the guest. The Molteni&C Heritage Collection is visible from the very beginning of the pathway, with two iconic Round D.154.5 armchairs by Gio Ponti completing the overall composition of the living room.
A second area showcases other living and kitchen solutions. Hector bookcase visually subdivides the areas according to their use: on one side Paul sofa, Margou armchair, Pannacotta and 45° Grado coffee tables, on the other a spacious Dada configuration including VVD island kitchen and 2.0 Technical Columns.
The Molteni&C experience continues on the first floor: a grand spiral staircase visually unites the two levels, welcoming the guest to a further immersion in the Molteni&C experience. A living area features Gregor sofa by Van Duysen, Kensington armchair by Dordoni and small tables such as Alisee by Matteo Nunziati, Attico by Nicola Gallizia and Vicino by Foster + Partners. A wall separates the 505UP system by Gallizia from the Hector night by Van Duysen. Entering the night area, Ribbon bed by Van Duysen takes center stage, beside the D.552.2 small table and D.151.4 armchair, both designed by Gio Ponti and part of the Heritage Collection. To complete the space, a composition of the Gliss Master frames Palette carpet and Domino Next pouf, resulting in the most welcoming and elegant walk-in closet.
