The Store
The Molteni Group is opening its Molteni&C Flagship Store in Düsseldorf, underlining the centrality of the brand in the global contemporary design scenario and confirming its strong and prestigious presence in Germany. The 250mq Flagship Store, all on one floor, comes to life in the impressive building that is part of the KÖ-QUARTIER, a sophisticated architectural complex in a particularly privileged position in the city center. The new space is located in the banking district and belongs to a context that enjoys cultural heritage protection. Situated right on the famous Königsallee and with the most modern infrastructure that the capital of the Nordrhein-Westfalen region can offer, the position of the store guarantees top shopping experiences.
The visitor’s experience develops from a wide entrance that ensures perfect harmony between the living area and the kitchen. The fireplace contributes to creating a welcoming scenario, in which the Marteen sofa designed by Vincent Van Duysen, flanked by the small Vicino coffee tables and by Nicola Gallizia’s 505Up bookcase, is the protagonist. Last but not least, visitors can enjoy re-editions of Gio Ponti’s furniture, such as the iconic Round D.154.5 and D.154.2 armchairs along with the D.552.2. coffee table.
The Hector bookcase, designed by the creative director Vincent Van Duysen, separates the living room from the Ratio kitchen, in turn flanked by the 2.0 operating columns and by Rodolfo Dordoni’s Devon chairs. Proceeding within the space, Nicola Gallizia’s Aura rug frames Vincent Van Duysen‘s Paul chairs and Margou armchairs, along with Matteo Nunziati’s Alisee coffee table.
