Undertaken under the expert guidance of Jaqueline Foti-Lowe, this grand opening marks a significant milestone in the brand's expansion and commitment to offering a unique, mono-brand shopping experience to its discerning clientele.
Situated in the vibrant district of Church Street, Richmond, within the recently completed Industry Lanes development designed by Architectus and developed by Salta Properties and Abacus Group, the new Molteni&C Flagship Store masterfully captures the essence of the brand. With its soaring ceilings and commanding street presence, this new location sets the stage for an unparalleled shopping experience.
Spanning over 500 square meters, the store’s bespoke design features materials and finishes sourced directly from Italy, immersing visitors in the timeless style of Molteni&C. Intelligently divided into two distinct spaces, the Flagship Store features welcoming reception areas alongside elegant living spaces and kitchens.
The showrooms offer inspiring pathways for exploring the Collection crafted in collaboration with prestigious international architecture and design studios, including Vincent Van Duysen, Jean Nouvel, Foster + Partners, Ron Gilad, Yabu Pushelberg, Herzog & de Meuron, among others.
Natural materials such as Travertine and Sunrise Oak embellish the space, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The harmonious blend of design and architectural elements reflects the Molteni&C philosophy rooted in fluidity and comfort, where furniture seamlessly integrates with existing structures, thereby enhancing the space.
The Melbourne Flagship Store is also home to the "Vivere alla Ponti" exhibit, a captivating journey through the world of the legendary Italian architect and designer, Gio Ponti. Shining the spotlight on the Molteni&C Gio Ponti Heritage Collection reproductions, this immersive experience brings the designer’s work to life through videos, archival images, and drawings, illustrating Ponti's outstanding ability to create spaces where architecture, interiors, and furniture harmoniously coexist.
