The stand of over 700 m2 designed by Vincent Van Duysen was inspired by great home architecture, where living and dining rooms interface and join a large, impressive Hi-Line Frame kitchen. This interior layout adjoins a bedroom area where the products Gliss Master and Master Dressing have been arranged in different finishes and composition solutions. PH Simon Wegener

Most of the decorative elements were created specifically for this project from innovative materials, because Van Duysen wants to set a new showcase standard to enhance the furnishings and the kitchens. Two types of flooring - one in dark wood and another more technical version in light wood - alternate to define the individual room spaces. Sophisticated natural materials like glass, bronze and unfinished metal, the chiaroscuro interplay of shades of sand and warm grey alternate with luminous shades of green.

Grid, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, fully satisfies this criterion of infinite modularity. Grid is a new research chapter in what are known today as modular wall-systems. Research into the evolution of domestic space, also thanks to the presence of electronic devices that extend the perception of space.

The Collector's House curated by Caroline Corbetta

At IMM Cologne, Molteni&C will be hosting a project called “The Collector’s House”, which started in the spring for the Salone del Mobile 2018 to present a selection of works by contemporary artists. An ideal collection, created by curator Caroline Corbetta, helps to create an ecosystem in which art and design can coexist with imagination, style and personality.
