Molteni&C opens the newest Flagship Store in Boston, demonstrating the brand’s rapid growth in the contemporary design scene of the American market. The Flagship Store is opened in collaboration with Casa Design Group, dedicated to providing top-notch service and elegant sophisticated interiors. The Molteni&C Flagship Store is located on the the SoWa district, situated in the South End of Boston, which has transitioned from its industrial beginnings to become a vibrant hub of arts and design.

This Flagship Store is a conceptual celebration, an ode to the leading figures in the world of architecture. The store’s layout houses works by great masters and designers of cities, spaces, interiors, and furnishings, such as Vincent Van Duysen, Jean Nouvel, Foster + Partners, Ron Gilad, Yabu Pushelberg, Herzog & de Meuron, to name a few. In line with Molteni&C’s ethos, the space evokes the sensations of a cozy and welcoming home that also succeeds in evolving with the times.

From the main entrance, a living area welcomes guests into the store. The room features the Augusto sofa paired with Louisa coffee tables, designed by Creative Director Vincent Van Duysen, the Cinnamon armchair by Naoto Fukasawa and the 505 UP system and sideboard by Nicola Gallizia, as well as the Gatwick table paired with Barbican chairs — both by Rodolfo Dordoni.

Visitors discover Vincent Van Duysen’s modern marvel: the Gliss Master walk-in wardrobe system. The hallmark of Molteni&C’s bedroom collection, Gliss Master presents a fascinating closet solution.

When paired together, the uniquely designed Gliss Master, Hector Night by Vincent Van Duysen and the sophisticated Baltimora island unit by Matteo Nunziati create a serene sleeping area. Proceeding within the space, the Blevio table, part of the Heritage collection by Ignazio Gardella paired with Janet chairs, contribute to the thoughtful design.

A refined kitchen area, centered on Vincent Van Duysen’s award-winning concept, the Intersection Island, paired with the Devon chairs, designed by Milanese designer Rodolfo Dordoni, enrich the store. On the opposite side, the kitchen area features Hi Line 6 designed by Ferruccio Laviani, the Mateo table by Vincent Van Duysen and the Archway sideboard, a sleek and modern design by Dordoni. The Cleo sofa and small tables by Vincent Van Duysen enrich the area, together with the iconic D.151.4 armchair by Gio Ponti.

Guests will delight in discovering a central living area featuring the Gregor sofa and Hector modular bookcase by Vincent Van Duysen, the 45° small table by Ron Gilad, with its complex but essential shapes, the Sutton armchair by Rodolfo Dordoni paired with the Vicino small table designed by Foster+Partners.

Moving on through the store, guests encounter the Ovidio bed by Vincent Van Duysen, designed to be the centerpiece of the bedroom area, together with the Regent coffee table and 7070, a fascinating nighttime system by Rodolfo Dordoni. The room features the Tuscany chaise longue by Naoto Fukasawa and Aster coffee table by Vincent Van Duysen.

To complete the scene, the Palinfrasca sofa, with its immediately recognizable iconic shape, pays tribute to the 1994 work by Luca Meda from which it takes its inspiration. Vincent Van Duysen’s Phoenix armchairs round out the space, paired with the Regent coffee tables and the Panna Cotta small table by Ron Gilad.

The result of almost 300 square meters of exquisitely crafted Italian products is a high impact setting that showcases the Molteni&C collection in all its splendor, with the aim of creating a warm, welcoming, experiential layout to inspire the culture of living well.
