At the 25th Interieur exhibition in Kortrijk, Vincent van Duysen was nominated Designer of the Year 2016 for his personal architectural and product design style.
Over the course of his career, Van Duysen has developed a personal architectural and product design style, frequently defined as minimalist. The term he prefers is the ‘art of living’. Whether it is an industrial product, outdoor furnishings, terracotta pots or smart lighting, he never fails to translate his design into a refined product.
Last April, the Belgian architect and designer Vincent Van Duysen was also appointed creative director of the Molteni&C | Dada brand.
After the success of the Gliss Master wardrobe collection and his design for the Molteni&C stand at Koelnmesse, the new partnership is focusing on coordinating the brand’s retail concept and image. Strong north European imprint, minimalist rigor with a Mediterranean flavor and a real passion for Italy.
The first designs of this great new partnership include the new Molteni&C and Dada stands, the make-over and extension of Molteni&C’s 600 sq m Flagship Store in Tokyo, inaugurated last week, and of the company’s historic exhibition space inside the Molteni Compound, which, among other things, also hosts the Molteni Museum.
