The Picea coffee table, a Vincent Van Duysen design, enhances living spaces with its distinctive look. Crafted entirely in ceramic, Picea boasts gracefully rounded lines and a harmonious design, echoing the natural beauty of the Arctic evergreen spruce tree from which it takes its name.

Picea’s slight hourglass shape offers a wider base and a comfortable support surface, evoking a sense of movement without disrupting the fluidity of its solid color body. This design language speaks of sophistication, eschewing unnecessary complexity while embracing a robust presence.

Available in three timeless colors—Ecru, Anthracite, and Merlot Red—the Picea coffee table offers versatility in design and aesthetic appeal. With dimensions of 34.5 cm in diameter and 45 cm in height, it stands as a symbol of understated elegance.

Whether as a duo, a cluster, or a standalone piece, Picea coffee tables invite exploration and creativity. Monochrome or mixed, they embody timeless charm and enduring allure.

Design

Vincent Van Duysen

Vincent Van Duysen was born in 1962, in Lokeren, Belgium and graduated in architecture at the Higher Institute of Architecture Sint-Lucas, in Ghent. From 1986 to 1989 he worked in Milan and Brussels. He opened his own studio in Antwerp, in 1990 focusing on architecture and interior design. The relationship between interior design and architecture in his work is profound. Furnishings and accessories are designed with an architectural perspective that is not limited by form, but is expressed with a careful perception of interior space and its relationship to the exterior architecture. By interpreting architecture and redefining its proportions, Van Duysen creates objects of great purity and simplicity that still retain a concrete character and solid form.
