Living Box

Designing an item of furniture that derives from a real architectural structure, thereby turning it into domestic architecture, is a path that many architects and designers have followed with success. The purpose of this stylistic exercise is to achieve an interesting and innovative object regardless of the dimensional scale used. This dimensional shift often leads to designing new types of furnishings offering innovative functions.
That is the case of Living Box, designed by Vincent Van Duysen: starting from a typically architectural project such as a building, a stage for concerts and conferences or a monumental space, Vincent Van Duysen reduced its scale transforming it into a household object with particular features and the possibility of new uses.
Blevio
design Ignazio Gardella
Ignazio Gardella’s Blevio table joins Molteni&C’s Heritage Collection, inaugurating a partnership with the Gardella Historical Archive: the first episode of a relationship based on research and exchange, destined to develop over the years to come. In 2015 Milan’s Galleria d’Arte Moderna, restructured by Gardella himself, hosted the exhibition on Molteni&C’s 80 years in the furniture business.
Yoell
design Vincent Van Duysen
Vincent van Duysen, an expert in the history of modern design, has restyled an archetype created in the 1950s and especially popular in America: the deckchair originally derived from the hammock, a traditional item of furniture in that part of the world.
Supported by an elegant Black Ash, Eucalyptus or Sunrise Oak frame, Yoell reflects the distinctive feature of the deckchair, designed for relaxing in patios, living spaces and terraces blessed with a tropical climate. In his version, Vincent van Duysen underlines the difference with the systems of the original chairs, featuring textiles or straw with freedom of movement, by designing a brand new element.
505 UP | System
Design Nicola Gallizia
505 UP, a classic in Molteni&C’s range in the field of modular systems for the daytime area, is still evolving to satisfy new styles of contemporary living.
505 UP Harry’s bar, design Nicola Gallizia, updates an element that has always featured in living spaces: the mobile bar, at the height of fashion in the 1950s and 60s, which becomes central in current lifestyles, once again open to conviviality. 505UP Harry’s bar has been designed as a totally autonomous element, but totally included in suspension in the 505 system. Two large doors, box-shaped or glazed with a full 180° opening thanks to a concealed hinge, give access to the internal compartment, with fine wooden, ceramic or ecoskin covering, designed to house and conserve tools and bottles for any type of drink.
Cleo
design Vincent Van Duysen
Cleo, a new design by the architect and creative director Vincent Van Duysen for Molteni&C, is a modular system consisting of various rectilinear, angular and self-standing elements that allow for a large number of compositions suitable for all kinds of living. The heart of the project is the frame, which is used for each individual component. A harmonious curvilinear shell, recalling a cosy place, which embraces seat and back without a break. The shell, upholstered in textiles or in leather, like the seat cushions, offers great comfort.
Cleo coffee tables

Cleo is a small domestic sculpture that derives from the professional experience of architect and creative director Vincent Van Duysen. A natural complement to the modular system of Cleo seating designed by Vincent van Duysen, it is a set of small tables marked by a geometry that recalls an ellipse.

Featuring clean and delicate lines, Janet is the latest design by creative director Vincent Van Duysen to join Molteni&C’s rich collection of chairs.
Hector
design Vincent Van Duysen
With his Hector project, Vincent Van Duysen makes his debut in the world of upright modular bookcases. 2022 sees the introduction of versatile, aesthetic and functional features, which widen Hector’s compositional offering. Hector is a versatile and innovative day and nighttime system. Hinged containers with cushioned top opening, in addition to drawers in the low module, enrich the compositions, giving access to additional storage solutions, which make the bookcase more functional.
Gliss Master | Smooth

The GlissMaster wardrobe and walk-in wardrobe system, a must for keeping clothes and accessories in perfect order and within easy reach. Smooth in ecoskin, and it widens its offering with a new internal accessory system.
Gatwick

Gatwick, a table designed in 2019 by the architect Rodolfo Dordoni, has been renewed by providing the aluminium structure with a new Eucalyptus top featuring a sophisticated inlay design, in addition to the marble variants, already available in the Molteni&C collection.
Adalgate

Molteni&C broadens its range of beds with a sophisticated and elegant proposal by Rodolfo Dordoni. The cooperation with the Milanese designer has led to Aldgate, a bed conceived as an island devoted to rest and relaxation.

Since as far back as the 1950s, Molteni&C has been a leader in innovative solutions for the nighttime area, which include a wide choice of beds as well as complete and functional suggestions for storage. Hence 7070, a fascinating nighttime system to provide the area traditionally devoted to rest and relaxation with a new series of nighttime complements, modernly designed to meet the needs of contemporary living.
Tivalì 2.0

Tivalì, the built-in kitchen for all spaces designed by Dante Bonuccelli in 2004, precursor of the “Everything in a Small Space” concept, is interpreted in a new project by Yabu Pushelberg, world famous Canadian designers, where technology and design come together to give rise to a perfect proposal.
The concept behind the design was to have a kitchen, within a linear space of between 2.40 and 3 meters, where the scenographic element prevails and the kitchen reaches its highest expression, rather like the performance of an actor on stage. As on all theatrical stages, the curtain conceals the scene, revealed only in the presence of the actors, and thus Tivalì 2.0 by Yabu Pushelberg appears as a large closed kitchen range which at first does not reveal its precious contents.
