The path that has led Molteni to establish itself over the years as an excellence in the design furniture sector, the company takes steps in different directions: not only furniture designed for a constantly evolving domestic environment, but also large customized projects for great scale.
In the 70s, in fact, Molteni launched its Contract division to make its know-how available to commercial and institutional clients: the goal is to be able to create furnishings and interior fittings for even very different realities. Such as residences, hotels, showrooms, libraries, cruise ships or even military ships.
After carefully evaluating the client's needs, the Molteni Contract Division is able to give shape to customized projects by focusing both on mass-produced products, including Dada kitchens, and on tailor-made products, for a wide and varied offer that embodies all the principles of the brand, from the artisanal quality of its craftsmanship to the attention to continuous experimentation.
Excellence in the Contract sector with Molteni
Relying on Molteni's experience in the Contract sector means collaborating with a division made up of a team of no less than 54 professionals, including engineers, architects and technicians specialized in various processes, capable of taking care of projects precisely and overall, following every aspect, from design from interior design to quality control and logistics.
Further support comes from the collaboration that the Molteni Contract Division carries out with some of the most prestigious international architecture firms: among the names that have worked alongside the Italian brand over the years, six have received the Pritzker prize, namely Aldo Rossi, Renzo Piano, Álvaro Siza, Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel and Herzog & De Meuron.
This network allows Molteni to satisfy the requests of commercial and institutional customers all over the world, with perfectly customized projects capable of lasting over time.
Designing unique spaces with the Molteni Contract Division
The Molteni Contract Division has created tailor-made solutions for many different realities, but always manages to keep its distinctive features clearly visible, such as innovation and quality of materials, even within customized projects.
Among these it is worth mentioning the building that houses the Cartier flagship store in New York, the Venice Jewelry Museum designed by Studio Urquiola, the Azimut Benetti Yacht Sunday FB235, transformed into a real floating villa thanks to its sumptuous interiors characterized by refine finishes or decorations.
Or the Davines Village, which combines large green spaces with offices, laboratories and factories, to underline the complexity of the projects that can be implemented by the Molteni Contract division, in the latter case extraordinary in finding a perfect balance between beauty, sustainability and workers' well-being .
