Since as far back as the 1950s, Molteni&C has been a leader in innovative solutions for the nighttime area, which include a wide choice of beds as well as complete and functional suggestions for storage. Hence 7070, a fascinating nighttime system to provide the area traditionally devoted to rest and relaxation with a new series of nighttime complements, modernly designed to meet the needs of contemporary living.

Design Rodolfo Dordoni

Rodolfo Dordoni has designed a complete set, where fine materials and finishes combine with a sober and elegant design for new functional aesthetic solutions. Both units, bedside table and drawers feature a front with rounded corners, which lightens the structure. The drawers in the chest of drawers and the bedside tables are lacquered in the colors of the Molteni&C range and are fitted with fine, recessed and easy-to-grip pewter handles. One novel feature is the superimposed tray-cum drawer, again made of eucalyptus wood, complete with a transparent ribbed glass top. As an alternative, the bedside table and the chest of drawers can be enriched with a slim eucalyptus, colored matt lacquer or in marble top.

Rodolfo Dordoni

Rodolfo Dordoni, architect and designer, was born in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture. His collaboration with Molteni&C has gone beyond the production of individual products and has become the creation of a collection for the dining room and night systems. These projects feature hidden high-technology in the products.
