armchairs

The Cinnamon armchair by the Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa is a masterpiece of furniture design that seamlessly blends form, function, and comfort. The enveloping shape exudes an air of warmth and tranquility, inviting you to sink in and relax.

Design Naoto Fukasawa

“The inspiration for the Cinnamon armchair was the feeling of being wrapped in a soft embrace — or like you are floating in an inflatable ring with your arms drifting along the water surface. A simple yet cozy shape, where the body is pleasantly welcomed”

declared Naoto Fukasawa, describing his creative process.

Seemingly simple yet technically complex in shape, Cinnamon is characterized by a rounded line inscribing its foundation. The armchair’s U-shaped base follows the perimeter while the bulbous seat with removable cushion is designed to maximize comfort. Aesthetically, the Cinnamon armchair is harmonious and singular, masterfully concealing its stitching to liberate the expression of its sophisticated design.

Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it is upholstered in elastic jersey fabric that molds beautifully to the rounded structure. A range of 21 fabric options provides a variety of interpretations, each adding a unique touch of elegance to your home.

Cinnamon’s versatile design makes it a perfect fit for the living room, bedroom, study, or any other space where comfort and style are flawlessly integrated. Its enveloping and sinuous shape offers an exceptionally inviting feel and its unmistakable anatomical build give it a distinctly playful personality, making it the perfect spot to curl up with a good book or simply unwind after a long day.

An extraordinary piece of furniture thanks to its harmonious shape, utmost comfort, and matchless attention to detail.
