Designed to serve as seating or to be used as small tables, the Pantalica stools by Elisa Ossino offer a compelling accent to outdoor living areas. Their minimalistic shapes are inspired by archaic forms drawn from the ancient cultures of the Mediterranean basin, creating an aesthetic that evokes a rustic and timeless feel. Named after the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site in southeastern Sicily, the Pantalica collection interprets influences from antiquity for contemporary outdoor spaces.

The two stool designs are crafted on a sturdy aluminum base embellished by a carefully woven rattan made of polypropylene, a weatherproof material that is also fully circular. Each of the two stools offers a unique interpretation of the multifunctional concept.

One variation features four cylindrical bases with a cube-shaped top. The other stands upon a single cylindrical base and features a square-shaped top.
With their supple synthetic rattan tops, the stools do not require a cushion when used as a seating solution.

Elisa Ossino

Born in Sicily, architect and designer Elisa Ossino founded her eponymous design studio in Milan in 2006 following her studies at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
