Gio Ponti's creativity gave rise to the distinctive designs for Cavallo, Colombo, Architettura, La Mano, Pompei and 7Tubi crafted from luminous stainless steel. With Bottiglie, the master turned his focus to wood, exploring its evolving nature and distinctive characteristics.

Ponti was deeply enamored with the ancient Etruscan ceramic technique, Bucchero, and its refined process which results in a characteristic black color, both rare and precious. Born from his partnership with Buccheri Antonio Rossi Workshop, Ponti brought his unique Bucchero creations to life in the 1950’s following this ancient Etruscan technique from the 7th century a.C. Today, Molteni&C works with the same artisan - the last living Bucchero master - to preserve this ancient craft.
