Grand Opening: Hangzhou Flagship Store

We are pleased to announce the grand opening of the Molteni&C Hangzhou Flagship Store in partnership with Longwood Living. Centrally located in Qianjiang New City at Metropolis 79, the store is part of the Chinese city's inaugural high-density and mixed-use residential project. Set within in a building designed by architectural firm RAMSA, the Molteni&C Hangzhou Flagship Store spans 1,800 square meters across three levels, creating a unique dialogue between the building’s contemporary architecture and the brand's refined Italian craftsmanship.

A conceptual celebration, the store is an ode to the major players architecture and design, featuring furnishings and innovative solutions for every part of the home by Creative Director Vincent Van Duysen, Herzog & de Meuron, Foster + Partners, Jean Nouvel, Christophe Delcourt, and more.

Upon entry, guests are greeted with living and dining areas, multiple kitchen compositions, and bedroom spaces — offering inspiration for every part of the home. The immersive layout reflects an inviting atmosphere with a harmonious blend of rich materials is featured throughout. Wood introduces warmth and depth to the space, while the use of travertine adds texture and sophistication, together creating a refined, contemporary aesthetic.

In keeping with Molteni&C’s ethos, the space expressing the idea of a cozy, reassuring and welcoming home, perfectly embodying the brand’s culture quality of living.
