Molteni&C Hosts Alex Turco Exhibit During Frieze New York
Our New York Flagship Store was pleased to host an exclusive exhibit of Alex Turco’s OnlyOne collection of paintings throughout Frieze New York May 1–5, 2024.
Alex Turco is a California-based artist whose most enduring source of inspiration is nature. His OnlyOne collection is a series of large-scale pieces crafted by hand using raw elements belonging to the natural world. Each piece in the series is a one-of-a-kind work with no exact copy.
The works presented included BOHEMIO, BLACK RADIANT, DRIPPING GITANO, GOLDEN GITANO, and CHAMPAGNE RADIANT and are on showcase as a permanent installation in an elegant dialogue with the Molteni&C Collection.
The works were accompanied by a live art performance by the artist on May 2nd, who refined the Black Radiant artworks with epoxy resin.
