D.154.5 Round | Armchair
The D.154.5 Round Armchair, characterized by its graceful curves and inviting form, exemplifies comfort while making a striking visual statement. Its design captures the essence of modern living, effortlessly fitting into various settings within the villa.

D.154.5 Round is also referred to as ‘Otto Pezzi’ (Eight Pieces) in the Ponti/Fornaroli/Rosselli study. In fact, there are eight pieces that make up the chair: backrest, seat, two curved plywood elements and four legs, which screw into the seat to hold the whole thing together. More than 60 years after the original idea, D.154.5 Round was reborn thanks to the Heritage Collection reissue project by Molteni&C, in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives.

D.154.2 | Armchair
Gio Ponti's D.154.2 encapsulates the designer architectural brilliance and ebullient spirit with its enveloping and sinuous profile that inspires both admiration and comfort. The armchair was specifically designed for Villa Planchart and was reissued by Molteni&C in 2015 in collaboration with Gio Ponti Archives. Faithful to the original, enveloping shape, the re-edition of Gio Ponti’s iconic design is like a cosy shell, has a rigid polyurethane frame, a soft polyurethane counter-frame and a cushion.

In 2024, D.154.2 won the Compasso d’Oro Career Award for Products.
