Molteni&C and Dada take part in the fourth edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai, due to take place in Shanghai from 20 to 22 November 2019. The stand develops within an exhibition space of 250 square meters.
The 2019 concept is inspired by the houses of the great architects of the mid 20th century.
Molteni&C and Dada present its new ideas for contemporary living, created by the most prestigious names in international design: Vincent Van Duysen, Rodolfo Dordoni, Gio Ponti, Foster+Partners, Ron Gilad, Nicola Gallizia, Francesco Meda, Neri+Hu and Yabu Pushelberg
The Gliss Master wardrobe system has been enriched with a new type of door featuring an ingenious opening mechanism: Sistema 7. The core of the design is a patented, horizontally folding mechanism that enables the doors to be moved effortlessly and silently from their initial housing at the side of the compartment, thereby making it fully accessible.
Shanghai-based Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu, partners in both work and life, have designed their bed, or more precisely an integrated furniture system for the bedroom, to ensure a good night’s sleep. Typically oriental, the bed is simple and essential, featuring wood as the main material, teamed with metal and soft textiles or leather. The headboard is tall and inviting, almost embracing the bed itself.
Vincent Van Duysen reinterprets the recessed handle detail in a modern and sophisticated key, working on the contrast between the slim side and end units and
the considerable thickness of the worktops, which fit in, interrupting the linearity of the worktop, with stone sink bowls.
